I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and am now proud to call Janesville, WI, home. I have a passion and a need to help others, most specifically in the areas of racial inequality and injustices.

Being raised in the streets of Chicago, I lived the racial inequality and injustices every day. My life experiences have led me to my current passion as a community activist, following in the footsteps of my ancestors.

My outreach has led to the following:

  • Former Chairman of the African American Liaison Advisory Committee for Janesville Police Department

  • Crimestoppers of Janesville and Rock County Committee Member

  • Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee for Rock County

  • CASA of Rock County Volunteer

  • Janesville Multi-Cultural Teacher Scholarship Board

  • Current Chair of Janesville Mobilizing 4 Change

  • Member of Beloit Chapter of NAACP; set on their Criminal Justice Committee

  • Set on Justice Overcoming Borders (JOB)

Spending over 20 years living within Rock County I am forever grateful to now be serving and giving back to the same community that I was raised in. I am passionate to provide youth with key resources and support needed to succeed in becoming the best version of themselves. My education within the UW school system has guided me and my dedication to make meaningful impacts throughout the fields of Human and Social Services and Ethnic Studies. I have gained unlimited insight from experiencing the impacts non-profit’s have first hand since 2012 and continue to lead with these lasting life lessons.

After years of being inspired by non-profits within the community, now being a part of Brigham Impact Group Mentoring and Leadership Academy I am following through with my goal. Creating everlasting change in the lives of our youth and all we connect with. In my spare time I enjoy expressing my artistic interests through photography, painting, and crafts. Surprisingly, relatable to many of the youth we serve. I also have a daughter who keeps me on my toes and reminds me of my ambitions daily. I’ll admit, she may also be who's to thank for my love of coffee. I hold many skills and am most likely your main contact for your all-around problem solving concerns.
